Welcome Fall

This weekend the weather finally hinted of the coming Fall…

Follow Lauren Brady’s board Season | Fall on Pinterest.

With pumpkins lining the produce stands and the faint smell of a fireplace in the distance it felt like all of downtown Franklin was abuzz with excitement!

The cloudy skies maintained just enough of a chill for sweaters and boots and maybe – just maybe – a light scarf…

I’m giddy just writing about Autumn – forever my favorite season! We’re officially on the countdown to the first day of Autumn!

Learn Ceaselessly

I believe one should look at life as an opportunity to absorb as much information as possible; to learn ceaselessly.

I was privileged to recently audit a photography class at my alma mater, O’More College of Design It was a whole new (and wonderful) experience to participate in a class simply to learn, without worrying about a grade. David Braud is a phenomenal teacher and talented photographer. Understanding my learning style was integral in retaining the information from his class.

Sidenote: I was incredibly honored to be featured in their recent newsletter for the Alumni Spotlight!

Though I still have plenty to learn about photography, my dear friend Lindsay was gracious enough to allow me to practice by shooting her maternity pictures, below.

What kind of learner are you?
If you were to audit a class, what subject would you choose?
